#2 George Christopoulos (Part I)

For my second interview, I reached out to talent agent, George Christopoulos. We had an outstanding 2h45min conversation, which means the interview will be divided in several parts.

This first video are shortened answers that both indie directors and composers might find interesting. More video will be uploaded in the weeks to come.

George Christopoulos is the founder, CEO and film composer’s agent of OTICONS Ltd. talent agency. In 2005, he started his collaboration with the famous Japanese composer Shigeru Umebayashi, which in 2010 led to the foundation of OTICONS agency, which represents film composers, orchestrators and other music artists and professionals for film and other media. As an agent he represents internationally more than 30 film composers from more than 20 different nationalities, while at the same time he has worked as a consultant for international co-productions on several feature films. In 2014 he also started a ground-breaking initiative, the annual international film music competition, the OTICONS FACULTY, which has a judging panel of world acclaimed and multi-awarded composers. His passion for film music and film and music education, has quickly placed him on the map of the entertainment industry as a unique kind of a talent agent and educator.
